Get Involved

Each year we provide a growing number of Latino students and families with vital resources and programs.
Adelante students are achieving, and you make our success possible.

Your donation funds our programs that foster academic and personal growth in our community’s Hispanic youth. We greatly appreciate your generosity!

Adelante is a 501 (c) 3 and your tax deductible donation will help provide 135 students and families with Mentoring & Enrichment, Tutoring and Homework Help, and College Readiness.

Adelante proudly acknowledges these premier educational institutions for providing many of our volunteers each season:

We are a volunteer-based organization that relies on the commitment and hardwork of over 65 volunteers each year to serve our 135+ Hispanic/Latino students. Join us and help Latino youth achieve their dreams!

Who are our volunteers? They are caring, energetic, and enthusiastic community members of all professions (including students!), and include tutors, mentors, presenters, and interns.

  • After School Tutors include teachers, college students, and high school students who work with a single student every week for a semester or longer.
  • Mentors provide weekly support, guiding one or more students over time.
  • Presenters are community leaders from diverse professions who share their expertise during a single 3-hour workshop.
  • Interns provide 80+ hours during a semester and may support several Adelante programs. Internships are available through: UofL LALS, UofL Spanish Department, and Bellarmine University School of Education.
